Business Systems Technology

The Business Systems Technology program is designed to develop the skills necessary for entry level employment in the office of the 21st Century. While traditional office skills are still needed, there is an increasing emphasis on positive worker characteristics and computer skills. The curriculum is student centered and employment focused.


The equipment that is used in this program is similar to what might be found in a business office. A few of the software programs include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.

Students will take courses based on the requirements of the diploma or certificate program in which they are enrolled. Students may choose from two certificates or four diplomas.
